The Blue & Gold Banquet is combined with the Arrow of Light Ceremony.

Background: The Blue & Gold banquet is our annual awards banquet for Pack 39 scouts and their families, and it is a time for families to come together and honor the efforts and achievements of their Scouts during the past year.  There is a delicious Papasito's Mexican dinner and cake for dessert (provided courtesy of the Pack).

Scouts should come dressed in full uniform with their Bragging Vests.  Scouts will receive Rank advancements and other awards that they have earned.  We also often use the Blue & Gold banquet as a time to reflect upon our achievements, the fun we have had, and the services we have provided to our community.   We will use the Blue and Gold Banquet to highlight community service opportunities and announce the charitable donations the Pack has made based on our highly profitable Popcorn Sale.

Please check with your den leader for more details about the banquet as its date approaches.  They will need a headcount for the number of people in your family (adults and kids), so that we can order the correct amount of food.

2009 Blue & Gold Banquet Details: Our annual Blue & Gold and Arrow of Light Ceremony  is scheduled for Sunday March 1st beginning at 5:00pm.  This is one of our most important events of the year and we hope every family will attend.  The committee responsible for planning and executing this event has been hard at work!   Please plan to be at the event as we will start on time!!  Your Den Leader will be asking for a headcount for your family.  Every family member is invited – siblings and grand parents included!  Please respond so that we can accurately plan for the food / dessert and not waste the Pack’s resources.

We have an action packed agenda!  Here is a summary:
